Wagering Calculator

Every bonus has a real cost hidden in its wagering requirement. Enter the terms of any bonus — ours or anyone else's — and see what clearing it is actually expected to cost you. If the expected cost is higher than the bonus, the bonus is a decoration, not a gift.

Clearing this bonus is expected to cost more than the bonus is worth. The "gift" is the price.

How the math works

To clear a bonus you must stake the required turnover. Slots keep a house edge of (100% − RTP) of everything staked, so the expected cost of clearing is turnover × (1 − RTP). A 100% bonus of €100 at x35 wagering on a 96% RTP slot requires €3,500 in bets, which is expected to cost €140 — more than the bonus itself. That is why we publish our own bonuses at 1x, and why the Bonus Honesty Index grades every bonus with this same formula.
