What is KYC (Account Verification)?
KYC stands for Know Your Customer — the identity verification a licensed casino is legally required to complete before paying out winnings. It typically means uploading a photo ID and sometimes proof of address and payment method.
Why withdrawals get delayed
The single most common cause of a slow withdrawal is KYC triggered at cashout instead of earlier. The casino freezes the payout while it verifies you. The fix is simple: complete verification right after you register, not when you win.
It is a one-time step
Once verified, you are cleared for future withdrawals. A casino that keeps asking for the same documents, or invents new requirements at payout, is a red flag — the opposite of how an honest operator behaves.
Skorsky puts this honesty into its bonuses: your first withdrawal is doubled, 30% of losses come back as cash, and every offer is graded on the Bonus Honesty Index. Check any bonus with the wagering calculator first.
